Originally, all of this content lived in my personal study documents. Nothing polished. No perfect formatting. Just organized notes and questions that made sense to me and helped me learn the material as efficiently as possible.

I’ll be honest… Studying was never my priority. Optometry school is intense, but it’s also a unique time in your life. You’re in a new city, surrounded by new friends, and building experiences you’ll remember forever. I wanted to work hard and succeed—but I also wanted to enjoy the journey.

So, I focused on studying smarter so that I could focus on playing harder.

Instead of endlessly rereading notes and slide decks, I turned every lecture, subject, and clinical case into mock exam questions. This forced me to actively recall the information rather than passively review it. It wasn’t the easiest method, but it was incredibly effective—I learned faster, retained more, and spent far less time cramming before exams.

None of my classmates did this, and I had no idea why. Until I realized something: the most time-consuming part of this strategy wasn’t studying the questions…it was creating them.

So I did that part for you.

This course removes the tedious step and gives you a system built around active learning—the same approach that helped me prepare for the NBEO and clinics. I personally found that I only needed about one month to feel ready for all parts of the NBEO exam using this system. That’s why the course is structured as a one-month subscription. Of course, everyone studies differently, so take the time you need to feel confident.

My goal is simple: to help future optometrists walk into the real world with strong clinical knowledge—and without the stress of retaking the NBEO.
